It's amazing how difficult it is to come up with creative, easy dinners! Dinners that don't require expensive ingredients, or long prep times. I feel like I make the same thing over and over! At least Sean is easy to please(for the most part). I enjoy cooking a lot (not baking!), and I am always looking for new recipes. Please share yours!!!!!
Ahhh....it's so easy it really can't even be called a recipe!! white rice, grilled chicken, grated carrots and green onions....I grilled some white onion and bell pepper in peanut oil and mixed it in with the rice, then layered the chicken and veggies on top. I found panda express orange chicken sauce and drizzled that over it but our favorite is really teriyaki sauce!! You really have to mix it up before you eat it...it's easy and yummy.
Try going to the tasty kitchen website. There are tons of recipes that are posted by ordinary peeps like us. I've tried out quite a few and they've turned out good. I get bored with my standby meals too.
Life can get pretty complicated at times. It's amazing to me how things change, and shift, and fall in to place all around us. I look back at my life....15....18....21....now, 26...and I am truly amazed. I never thought I would leave my home town of Bakersfield, CA, yet here I am in Chico. It's exactly where God wants me to be too. He has done so much for me in my life, but especially in the last five and a half years that I have been in Chico. I have grown so much spiritually. It's wonderful and I am so grateful. Plus, I have so many great friends and awesome family (the Morton's, my grandparents, aunt and uncle Claborn). And of course I have met the love of my life, Sean Dean Neufeld. The best husband a girl could ask for. Again, God has done so much!
