I can't believe christmas has come and gone! At 28 years of age the holidays just aren't what they used to be. They are still a wonderful time to spend with family though. This christmas, my mom, dad, Sean, and I drove down to Bakersfield on Thursday evening to my grandpas house. We spent 3 days visiting with him an the rest if the family. It was our first Christmas without grandma, and it just wasn't the same. We missed you grandma. I know you are in a better place, and it doesn't even hold a candle to the excitement if Christmas day. It's a new year now, and many many new things are going to happen in the newest Neufeld family. I'm so excited to see what 2011 holds!!!! HAPPY NEW YEAR everyone!!!!
Here are a few pics of our holiday.....as you can see we mostly sat around and ate.
Life can get pretty complicated at times. It's amazing to me how things change, and shift, and fall in to place all around us. I look back at my life....15....18....21....now, 26...and I am truly amazed. I never thought I would leave my home town of Bakersfield, CA, yet here I am in Chico. It's exactly where God wants me to be too. He has done so much for me in my life, but especially in the last five and a half years that I have been in Chico. I have grown so much spiritually. It's wonderful and I am so grateful. Plus, I have so many great friends and awesome family (the Morton's, my grandparents, aunt and uncle Claborn). And of course I have met the love of my life, Sean Dean Neufeld. The best husband a girl could ask for. Again, God has done so much!
